Yes — 100%. The flag and the installation are free. Volunteers may never ask for a tip or payment. If anyone does, report it to us and we'll act on it.

We do not run criminal background checks. We verify each volunteer's cellphone and driver's license, and do a limited review when we can. You sign a waiver acknowledging this before any visit. Please use your own judgment and take normal precautions.

Local volunteers — handymen, contractors, print shops, and car-wrap shops — who donate their time. You'll see reviews and a profile before you choose one.

Some volunteers offer free patriotic stickers and car wraps using pre-approved, non-political designs. Large or fully custom wraps fall outside the free program and are arranged directly with the provider.

Free Flag USA is a program of CMurk, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and 100% of them go toward buying flags. You'll receive a receipt by email.
